PhaseOne Celebrates Fifth Anniversary of LinkOne

LOS ANGELES, April 25, 2011 — PhaseOne celebrated the fifth anniversary of its collaboration with the global research giant Millward Brown in providing LinkOne analyses to selected global packaged goods and beverages clients.  The LinkOne process expands and informs Millward Brown¹s Link communications test by using PhaseOne¹s proprietary methodology to “segment” or break up television commercials in a manner that replicates how marketers intend for their targets to process their messages.  The genesis of the collaboration between PhaseOne and Millward Brown was a suggestion six years ago by the head of global insights for one of the world¹s largest food producers.  According to the Global Insights VP, PhaseOne and Millward Brown were excellent research partners, but the VP believed the value of the independent research products would be enhanced if a composite product could be delivered combining the best of PhaseOne and Millward Brown.  PhaseOne and Millward Brown met this challenge over the course of the next year by exploring each other¹s processes and methodologies, which ultimately yielded the LinkOne analysis.  While LinkOne was initially offered to the manufacturer exclusively, LinkOne is now widely available to global marketers and has already been used in over 40 countries.  According to the Global Insights VP, “The LinkOne analysis added significant distinct value to Link recommendations at minimal cost, and enabled more informed actions.”
